  Know of any cheap vet ERs? My puppy won't stop yelping something bad. I don't think she can wait until tomorrow to see her vet. Her ear is hurting. Because we found a tick just inside, we think there might be one deeper down. We removed the tick we could see and put antiseptic on it, but she is still in pain and won't stop yelping. Know of any cheap vet ERs? Only one I know of is Prescott and Orangeburg.

  The police has a non emergency line: 209-572-9500. However, because of the heat, I would say it is an emergency. Heat stroke is a real and deadly thing with animals because they can't sweat and have fur.
