About us
Deck & Drive Solutions is a local, family owned company that has been building decks privately since 2009 and before we were subcontractors under a few higher end remodeling companies and home builders for about 25 years in the Des Moines and Surrounding areas. We specialize in custom deck building using the best quality materials available with detailed workmanship and outstanding customer service. We don’t just build Beautiful Decks and install Quality Siding, we build trust and relationships with our Clients. Every one of our client’s situations and decks needs to are unique. We ask design and living questions to get our deck designs customized to each client to insure you get exactly what you are looking for. When we say we build custom decks, we mean that no decks are the same and customized to each client’s needs, locations, and situations.
In addition to the deck design and deck build, we build covered roofs and pergolas. We also install accent lighting and we use the best material for our Iowa weathers which includes Timbertech PVC Capped Composite Decking, Trex PVC Capped Composite Decking, Westbury Full Aluminum Railing, and many other quality deck products.
Our goal is to create unique outdoor living spaces which is an extension of the home for grilling, dining, entertaining with enjoying our Iowa’s Weather.

Our Family-Owned business started with Aaron Rouse and the help of his Father (Junior) and Brother (Chad Rouse) as well as his Sister (Jennifer Saak) for her marketing skills. I don’t just want to thank the above people, but all my friends, family (including my Mom-Juli Saak), and clients to help me make this dream... show more possible.
Aaron Rouse (Owner) who started the business in 2009 after working at a national recognized architectural firm (BSB Design) for 7 years as a draftsperson / residential home designer. He worked at BSB Design from finishing college to the time he wanted to start his own business. Before BSB Design, Aaron has worked with his Dad (Junior) and his Brother (Chad Rouse) building decks for many Home Builders and Custom Remodelers around the Des Moines Area from when he could walk to the time Aaron started college. Aaron is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He is on most of the jobs done by Deck & Drive Solutions. From building a deck to siding a house. Aaron’s technique and attention to detail is touched by every project. Aaron is a Timbertech Pro Contractor – Gold Level (Composite Decking), James Hardi Certified for Exterior House Siding and Trim, Azek Pro Contractor – PVC Decking and Trim, Penofin Certified for the sealing process, and Trained and Certified by Elite Crete Systems and RockTred Epoxy Coatings out of with decorative concrete overlays and custom epoxy flooring coatings. show more

We rebuilt our deck a few years ago using composite and were very impressed with their entire process. They were super professional, reasonably priced and thorough. We get compliments on our deck constantly.
