Does anyone have any information or experience with the Reno Rodeo Cattle Drive? It's a 5 day affair driving 300 head of cattle to Reno for the rodeo. $2000 a person gets you your horse, meals, open bar and nightly entertainment around the campfire. You have to bring your own bedrolln gear bag, riding gear including western hat (no ball caps) And a tent unless you want to sleep under the stars. They also recommend tipping the wranglers and the entertainers so it looks like it would cost a whole lot more in the end. I'm really looking for a cattle drive experience but don't want a dude ranch and really don't wanna be out riding with 50 other people that aren't really horsemen. Anybody can sign up for this and I imagine they get quite a few greenhorns that don't know what they're doing or getting into. I'm green to cattle, but I have been riding in training for over 35 years.
