  I was wanting to know if there was a dermatologist in Omaha or surrounding areas that can help with a Dx of scleroderma. I have patches of skin on my chest and my face that are dark and feel tight. I just seen a RA Dr. and he never even looked at my skin...he replied "that is what a dermatologist is for." he said everything was good but ordered my labs and wants to see me in 3 months...confused and worried....any sugestions?

  I am newly diagnosed with scleroderma. After about 10 years of symptoms, many doctors and lots of frustration-I'm sure many people can relate! I need to find a good doctor that will see me soon. I am very bad off nutritionally from gastroparesis and have extremely high blood pressure-maybe renal crisis? However, the last time I got in to see a rhumotologist, it took almost a year. Can anyone offer advice and suggestions? Greatly appreciated.

  Nora, Not sure if you are in the Omaha area, but if you are, the next support group meeting is Tuesday January 18 and you can get plenty of information there.
