  Does Mazie's Mission do skin scrapes for mange and if so, when can it be done? We just had a puppy pulled from the Garland Shelter and sent to a foster there. We are located in Florida and are told the puppy has a "skin condition" and the foster is freaking out that it is mange. We need to find out if it is and what kind. Please get back to me as soon as possible. If you can't do it, do you know a low cost vet in the Plano area we can send him to?

  Hi Sheila. Can you tell me what rescue you are with? Mazie's is a full service veterinary hospital and we can perform a skin scraping plus treat any skin condition your puppy may have. The clinic number is 214-436-4591. We do require that the pet is with a rescue group to be examined and we will need to get some information about the rescue when you call. We are open 8-5 Monday through Friday.
