  I recommend Lucas Optometry on South Grand without reservation and with great enthusiasm. I've been using them for almost a decade, and I've been treated perfectly every time. Great prices, they work with any insurance I've ever brought in there, and they are *nothing* like the big chain stores. This really feels like a neighborhood optometrist... because it is.   I second Lucas optometry. They also have a selection of dead stock vintage frames and they are well equipped to put new lenses into vintage frames. I've never had a vintage pair broken by them.
