oil change at a shop, any recommendations? hey all. recently bought a 2000 v star 1100 with around 56Kmi on the odo, and rolled over to just over 58Kmi.
i used to do oil changes and preventive maintenance myself on my previous motorcycle (a 2009 hyosung gv250), but this time, i want to have atleast my first oil change carried out by a professional. i'm also curious about all the extras on my bike; have been able to identify only some of them, and have a ton of questions on many others.
online reading can only do so much, and i was hoping to also speak with a tech in person to understand the machine better.
which shop would MNRideIt suggest around the twin cities?

Marty (owner and mechanic) at Go Moto is the man. His prices are fantastic, he does the work himself, and he won't BS you at all. gomotomn.com
Can someone please recommend a good motorcycle mechanic? After some google map research, it seems a good mechanic can be hard to find. I'm looking for an honest and skilled mechanic who isn't going to act like I'm wasting their time by inquiring about my old bike. I have an '83 Honda Shadow that runs but has a few issues and it'd be nice to be able to talk with someone like a friend, someone who won't berate me for not knowing everything there is to know about the bike.
Best regards!

[Best shop](http://gomotomn.com/content/) Coworker told me about them, I ended up buying the owners old scooter (i put another 14000 km on it). I bought something faster and he is always awesome.
I started a project this summer to replace the fork seals on the WP forks on my KTM 950. Got halfway through and ran out of time. Labor Day coming and the forks are still in pieces. I need to give up...
Re: [TC_Dualsport] In need of WP fork professional Call Marty Mataya at GoMoto of Minnesota. 763-315-6686http://www.gomotomn.com
I'm looking for a motorcycle service shop for simple services like oil change and tune ups. Recommendations? I tried calling motobob's in Bloomington but no one ever picks up.

I get the factory shop manual and do all that myself. If I had such work done I would take it to http://gomotomn.com/content/

Marty Mataya owns Go Moto. He's very competent, has good mechanics and stands behind what he does. Known him 30 years.
