Does it have a oil filter relocation kit already installed? If not, highly suggest it. The front exhaust pipe needs to be removed to access the oil filter. A simple oil change can get expensive at a shop. I also recommend removing/blocking off the air injection system if it isn't all ready. I'm not too far away in Coon Rapids.

http://www.roysrepair.com/?q=serviceshttp://www.midwestcycle.com/service.php Both have top notch reps with the old coots I know. Haven't been to Roy's, but Midwest was really nice & informative when I stopped in there to shop. Much better than... well, just about anywhere I've ever been.

Dr. Mudspringer/Cycle Tek in Spring Lake Park is great. Small shop, but Randy the owner is a really good guy and his shop does good work. Additionally C&M Cycle in Fridley is also fantastic. They've done great work on a few of my friends bikes. Another small shop that does great work and has good prices. They guys are fun to bullshit with too. They would be a great resource on finding out more about your bike. They also do checkups and can do a full look-over your bike if you want as well.

Most of my work that I don't do myself goes to the Billet Bike Shop in Hopkins. Great crew. Also have an ex Harley mechanic buddy of mine that does great work when he's available.
I'm looking for a motorcycle service shop for simple services like oil change and tune ups. Recommendations? I tried calling motobob's in Bloomington but no one ever...

I get the factory shop manual and do all that myself. If I had such work done I would take it to http://gomotomn.com/content/
