I have family coming in on Wednesday and one of them has a hard time walking and I am possibly looking for a wheelchair for about four hours is there anyone in town that could lend me one or is there a place I could rent one.   Yes, call the Chamber of Commerce. 508-487-3424. It is, my understanding, there are wheelchairs for loan in the shed by the exit of the wharf parking lot, you just need to call to make arrangements.

Back in the day there was a service in town for getting last minute accommodations, but I can't remember the name. I've got my end of summer condo rental set and paid for, but I might like to take a ferry for a quick overnight this season. Any recommendations for arranging last minute rooms?
