Last-minute emergency accommodation My extended family and I were visiting Windsor for a family wedding last weekend. Unfortunately my cousin suffered a brain haemorrhage and is in a critical condition. She has been flown to Toronto (St. Michael’s hospital) for emergency surgery and we have been told that her recovery will be long.
Can anyone recommend a place to look for last minute accommodation for her parents, husband and small child? We are in the process of searching AirBnB and the surrounding hotels but as this is last minute accommodation the prices are quite high. Any advice would be greatly received. TIA.
Edit: my family have found accommodation. Thank you so much for the advice and the kind words!

You can also try renting a guest suite at some areas condos, they typically allow stays of a week, and more with permission from the board of directors. Here are a few within walking distance: https://www.themettoronto.com/view/guest-suitehttps://www.auracollegepark.ca/contact You can also look at 30+ day stays, Delsuites has a number in condos across the city, https://www.delsuites.com/ Also, check your families insurance coverage, it may pay for a part of the accommodations. Good luck, and I hope she gets well soon
