Does anyone know a good neuromuscular dentist?
I have severe TMJ and I have had this for years, but it seems to be getting worse and moving to the other side of my face. I do use a mouthpiece at night when I sleep as well as a mild muscle relaxer for that muscle.
I am going to my regular dentist tomorrow (Paddock Place) to let him look at it, but I doubt he will be able to do much.
I have googled this type of dentist and I have spoken to the only/main one who came up. But I think they are the kind that want to get you in there to up-sell you on all kinds of cosmetic dentistry.
TMJ is a medical issue and my medical insurance will cover it, so I don't want to mess with someone who has ulterior motives. Just a medical/dental neuromuscular dentist that files insurance.
