  Boots will always need to be replaced after a year or so but you can get quality pants and clothes from arborwear.com. Their canopy pants and others are super high quality and people have them for years, even in this job. You could get him custom made sole inserts as well so his alignment from his feet upwards is good to prevent unnecessary aches. But also a professional, deep tissue massage once a season is gonna be the best thing to help maintain his aches and pains. I get one every now and again and feel very refreshed and limber afterwards for weeks.

  For pants I'd look at either Cloggers or SIP's. They're typically seen as the top two brands. I'd also look into Arborwear double thick sweaters if you live in an area that gets cold. I love mine and I've never heard anyone say a bad word about them.

  Arborwear hoodies are special cut through the armpits to make climbing easy, double thick so you dont have to wear a bunch of layers, hood big enought to fit over climbing helmets. Also pretty tough so they last.
