I am new to the area and looking for a recommendation for a vet for my golden retriever. I heard Georgetown animal hospital was great but they told me it would be a few weeks for an appointment and I need my dog to be seen sooner as he has been having seizures. Any recs for a great vet that won't break the bank? Thanks!

Love Rehoboth Animal Hospital. 302-227-2009. Dr. Tim or Dr. Curtis. They have Saturday hours also.
I have lived here for 2 years and had been taking my cat to "Vet on the Go" off of Rt 1 in Lewes. Great vet. Real world pricing. I'd 1st taken her to Savannah but was blown over with their ridiculous pricing. can anyone recommend another that's service and rates are in line.

They can't do that on the vaccination day, but will be able to during the wellness clinics. There was just a long thread on here last week about vet recommendations. I suggest scrolling down to find it as there was quite a bit of discussion. I personally use Rehoboth Animal Hospital, but there are lots of options.

We love Rehoboth Animal Hospital. Our babies are going in the 26 th to get spayed and neutered :) they are so nice there

I personally utilize the low cost vaccination days at DJ's Pet Depot. The staff is wonderful there & the wait is normally 20 minutes to get in & out. Plus we go shopping while we are there. I supplement those visits with regular wellness exams at Rehoboth Animal Hospital. I just photocopy the vaccination records & give to the office staff at Rehoboth Animal Hospital so they know everything is up to date. Great compromise!

I personally use Rehoboth animal Hospital. Some prices ate very competitive, some are a little higher, depending on what type of service you are looking for. I also have old pets, so they tend to be more expensive! I also own a dog grooming salon here in Rehoboth, been working in this location for almost 15 years. I can tell you in that time, I have heard great things about Haven Lake in Milford, 4 Paws in Seaford, and Georgetown Animal Hospital. Typically, the further you venture from the beach, the cheaper it gets. For what it's worth, I do love the staff at Rehoboth.

Rehoboth Animal Hospital is caring, competent, and the fees are appropriate. Dr. Sarah Curtis is fabulous.

Rehoboth animal hospital by far, Dr Tim is awesome. Can't put a price on great care. You get what you pay for.
Looking for a good vet for my dog. I know savannah hospital is good and have been taking my puppy there . But yesterday when she was sick I was told a walk in fee would be 42.00 during office hours but was charged 130.00 . Emergency fee. Called to question charge and all I was told was the dr. Was the after hours dr. Hence the fee:(
Millsboro animal hospital on rt 24 they r awesome! Or rehoboth animal hospital!

My Labradoodle had a testicle that didn't drop. The quote from my vet, Rehoboth Animal Hospital, was $700 to neuter him. That did not include a collar or pain meds. I had his surgery done at the SPCA for $200 (because its considered a complicated surgery) and both of those things were included plus an antibiotic to make sure he healed well. That just shows you what a huge mark up it is. I still use Rehoboth for Emergencies but I do take advantage of our local clinics!!
Jae M. replied:
I was in Savannah once for a consult and an elderly man came in with a kitten that someone had dumped on his street and obviously needed its mother. They told him they wouldn't take it unless he was paying for its care. He tried to reason with them because the kitten was in desperate need but they were firm that he had to pay to leave it. All of us in the waiting area were dumbfounded! This man obviously was doing what any of us would do who had a heart. I never went back. I go to 4 Paws in Seaford to Dr Mike. If its an emergency that can't wait i go to Rehoboth Animal Hospital. I like Dr.Mike better tho.
I am looking for a new veterinarian, does anyone have any experiences with Rehoboth Veterinary Hospital?

Rehoboth Animal Hospital is amazing. The staff is very friendly and the vets are very knowledge. I found the prices to be fair I don't trust my pups to just anyone and feel very comfortable when pups are in their care.
Can someone please give me a lead on a good veterinarian in the Long Neck area. I have been wanting to find one since we moved here in June, but now I need one right away. Any help would be appreciated.

We use Rehoboth Animal Hospital, but the downside is that they do not have emergency services. Had to use Savannah for emergency visit with the last dog. $3500 in a few days & I feel they made matters worse.
