Feline vet recommendations in North Central Austin I have a 3 and 1/2 year old spayed female cat with recurring urinary problems. I would like to take her to a new vet to get another opinion on treatment. Does anyone have a vet that has had success with treating urinary tract problems in their cat in the North Central Austin area?

Poor kitty! My cat also has recurring urinary problems and I know how stressful that can be. I've been very happy with [Austin Vet Hospital](http://austinvethospital.com/) for regular veterinary needs and [Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin](http://www.eahnwa.com/) for emergency needs. FWIW, switching my cat to Royal Canin Urinary SO wet food finally seems to have helped his issues after years of trying other food types, surgeries, etc.

Idk what counts as North Central to you, but I've been really happy with all of the vets at Austin Vet Hospital.
Can anyone recommend an excellent cat vet? My girlfriend and I just got our first beautiful little 6 mo old kitten and I'm looking for someone with fair, affordable rates and a lot of experience and knowledge. But we all want pretty much the same thing from a vet so why am I even saying that?
I would like to find someone who specializes in cats, but general vet recommendations are welcome as well.

The vets at Austin Vet Hospital are fantastic. They take care of our cat and dogs. They are centrally located near Mueller. Here's their [website](http://austinvethospital.com/).
