  Does anyone know anyone at the Department of State or a good immigration lawyer? A Turkish friend who works as engineer in the bay area started on his H1B last year. In March, he went to Turkey and could not come back after this as his visa case is put into called "Administrative Processing" "221g". Lawyers of his company contacted the consulate, some senators and DOS but could not get a good lead. But they have heard that in these cases there are always more connected lawyers who can get some information or somehow their cases are replied more often. They are trying to reach to these "more talented" lawyers. But feel this could only happen by personal reference. If anyone knows anyone who used a good lawyer, please let me know. Thanks!
