  I am an American living in Budapest. I own several luxury apartments here. I miss living in a developed country with a modern mentality and I am subject to unbelievable taxes here. Based on my analysis, it appears that I could create an Austrian holding company and live in Austria and sharply cut my taxes, particularly tsocial contributions, which equal 45% of gross income here in Hungary. So what are my questions? First of all, anyone have knowledge pertinent to my situation? And secondly, does anyone know a good tax adviser or lawyer who specializes in these matters. I can read German and I have lived in Europe many years. So I am looking for an Austrian price for these services, not an expatriate price. Below is one of my apartments.
