Recommend a watchmaker - antique pocket watch Hello all,
I have [an unusual and very fine old pocket watch](https://reddit.com/comments/8d2zuc) which runs but hasn't been serviced in many years.
Can anyone point me to a really skilled watchmaker who works on rare timepieces like this one? And perhaps help me learn what questions I should ask or requests I should make (for instance, I've seen people suggest keeping any parts that are replaced, but I don't know the reason behind it...)
I'm located in the US, by the way.
Thanks!

[This might be one place to start. Be sure to ask if they've worked on any similar watches with similar complications. repeaters, chronographs](https://members.awci.com/AWCIWEB/AWCISearch/MemberSearch.aspx) You might ask them if they know of an expert on pocket watches by that particular maker, Movado. You might also want to try contacting movado themselves and ask them for recommendations. https://www.movado.com/
