  Locksmith recommendations needed to change house locks for domestic violence victim. Police will be present at the time the locks are changed.

  The local support service for west berks is West Berks Domestic Abuse Service. 0800 731 0055 (bwa cover reading and east berks) that is also the number to access FLAGDV who can give you legal advice. There used to be a scheme that could help you re secure your home in these situations. It may still be running 'safer spaces' call 01635 519530 its referral route is the housing team at the council. It wouldnt be an urgent job via that route though as the scheme was set up for non urgent work. Finally if you live in a housing assoc home they may have a policy about supporting people dealing with domestic abuse and change locks on their properties.
