lgbt friendly dentist? help! I finally have dental insurance and need to go to the dentist badly. I know I need a root canal and would prefer to be sedated, at the very least need to have no idea what's going on. Terrible dentist phobia, it runs in the family.
Also, I'm a trans woman. I could probably walk into an office without anyone knowing it and all my legal stuff is done (name, legal sex, etc are changed). However, I want to be honest when they ask what medications I'm on and I'm worried about being treated differently after disclosing I'm on HRT (hormone replacement therapy). It's happened before and it can be downright humiliating.
Please recommend a dentist you love who is also LGBT friendly? Possibly who does sedation? Thanks!

My partner and I both see Dr. Reynolds at [Brown, Reynolds, and Snow](http://www.brsdentistry.com). She's fantastic--jokes with us, always asks how the other one is doing, etc and is a great dentist. I don't know if they do sedation (but I've never asked).
A friend needs a good pediatric dentist in the West End. Had a horrible experience this week and needs a new on ASAP. Recommendations? Thx!
