Anyone have a good tailor (not too expensive) that could take in a dress for me?

I went to the Alteration Shop on 34 th in the city and they did a great job on a bridesmaid dress for me. Here's his yelp page. http://www.yelp.com/biz/alteration-shop-new-york
Can anyone recommend a good tailor that does cheap, basic alterations in lower Manhattan or Brooklyn? I'm looking to get a few dress shirts altered. If possible, can you give me how much basic alterations cost?

I go to the [alteration shop](http://www.yelp.com/biz/alteration-shop-new-york) in midtown. The guy (Adel) is very very nice and always shares his opinion (in a good way) when working with you and your garments. There are negative reviews about him on yelp but from what I've read, it is simply because he works with multiple customers at the same time. I've only had him work on my pants but I plan on bringing any shirts/suits that I need worked on as well. A simple hem runs about $10 and he always has the items done within a day or two. I would imagine that whatever you need done will be very reasonably priced.
Tailor recommendations in NYC? I've got a suit that needs tailoring, but it was an expensive suit, and I don't want it to get ruined.
Any good recommendations in NYC?

[this place does great work](http://www.yelp.com/biz/alteration-shop-new-york)
Looking for an affordable, good tailor in NYC I've been trying to find a good, but affordable tailor in NYC for years now. I've tried friend's recommendations. They suck. I've tried searching on Yelp for highly ranked ones. They suck. I've tried random stop ins - they're all either unprofessional/poorly run, do poor work, or are insanely expensive.
Help me MFA, you're my only hope.
Does anyone know a good tailor in the NYC area? Ideally somewhere in Manhattan or near Long Island City, Queens. I'd love to find a young, talented guy who can make cheap alterations. I don't need someone to bespoke me a suit, just take in a few shirts and pants.

I use this place the [Alteration Shop](http://www.yelp.com/biz/alteration-shop-new-york) This dude knows his stuff and did an amazing job on my Paul Smith suit. I've been in there a few times, and he's always talking to people who appear to be regulars, so I'm guessing he does consistently good work. It's on the 8 th floor of a sort of nondescript building on 34 th st. Just tell the front desk guy you are going to the tailor if they ask. EDIT: I can't comment on price as I haven't gone anywhere else. I'm not sure if he's cheap or expensive compared to others, but he does a great job
