  Hi all. Not a v exciting post but wondered if anyone had a recommendation for somewhere local to get curtains made up/somewhere to buy fabric/someone who can sew who can make curtains? We've moved into a new build and the windows are really high. All the off the shelf curtains that I can find that would fit aren't particularly fun for a child!

  If you do decide to sew your own curtains, perhaps visit http://www.londonfabriccompany.com/ on Wilcox Road who had a lot of choice in fabrics when I last visited a couple of years back (but I ended up buying from John Lewis since it was convenient)

  London fabric company have a huge range and can make them, though I found them a bit pricey. I have someone in Clapham who will make them with your own material, half the cost of LFC. PM me if you want the details
