However, I am profoundly dissatisfied with the quality of communication and patient responses of this practice. They are large - and trying to get through to a real person is a challenge. Was just told by their nurse Gay that they receive 200 voice mails a day on the nurse line, that she does not hear them herself, but that the RECEPTIONISTS listen to the messages, "jot down a few words" and then the message is passed on. This is not an acceptable way to care for patients. There is a wide spectrum between "call 911 for an emergency" vs. "hey - I'm really having a problem and need to speak to someone." When I told the nurse Gay of my frustration (couched in terms of "i'm not feeling good and I just want to get some help," her response was, "Well, I think it's pretty good that we return 200 calls within 24 hours." Then, she essentially dissed me for not being able to answer the call back when she called. I am profoundly disappointed with this practice and will be sharing my complaints to anyone who will listen. Again, I give nothing but the highest marks to Lee Voight for her care and compassion. But - this office needs a major overhaul in how they react and respond to patients. And as far as the nurse Gay who is assigned to the callbacks, she really needs to be moved to another job.

  I go to a group on the Plaza - Ferns, Matile, Smith, Perryman and Moore. I see Dr. Perryman (not a female)! I have C-sections and he is considered the best surgeon. Lane sees a midwife there - Lee Voi. Jessica Guinn, also used to see her. I know that Dr. Carter ( a female), is very highly recommended there. They deliver at Saint Lukes on the Plaza, and all my nurses when I delivered the girls said they go to this practice. Most of them see Dr. Carter or Dr. Moore (another female). If you have another baby, they have their own sonographer in the office and I LOVE her as well! We just moved to Blue Springs and I'm going to keep going there, even though it's quite the drive now.
