Dr. Reardon is a female and she is at Northland OBGYN, you should try her.

Mary Clare Reardon at northland obgyn
Cristin A. replied:
Dr Angela Spell she just opened her own office after leaving Dr Meyers practice.
Michelle W. replied:
Cristin Lair Allen is she near Briarcliff? I thought I saw her name somewhere maybe at Green Acres last week. Not sure where.
Michelle W. replied:
Mooney Smith
Connie E. replied:
Mooney-Smith and M.C. Reardon are both in hot demand. Doubtful if either take new patients. George Saleh is a prince but I know you want a female. Very kind and caring and you're a patient not just another number.

Dr. Triplett. He delivered my sister and then found out I was in there too!
Michelle W. replied:

Sonia P. replied:
Lillian Alderman in Liberty ... she is ONLY a GYN though if that makes a difference to you.
Connie E. replied:
Michelle. I worked at Northland OBGYN in Liberty and they have female Dr's and also female nurse pract.who are fabulous. Also when we first moved here I was at northland women's healthcare on Barry road and they are all females. Also very good.
Michelle W. replied:
I love Dr Smith. I can't seem to get into her and am in the middle of a hormonal meltdown! Lol
Does anyone know where I could fill an oxygen prescription? I'm not sure where to get it filled and I've called pharmacies and none of them supply it or know where to...

Ask Stephanie Andrews who they get or got there's fun

Okay.. so personal question for the ladies... Can anyone recommend an ObGyn in the KC area? I've just fired mine.
Bonny M. replied:
I'm sorry to hear that about Dr. Hall. He's been mine for 12 years now. Granted, I don't go that often but I've always had a good experience there.
Nikole P. replied:
Dr. Otto or Dr. Myrick at lakewood are great!! Otto is female.
Amber B. replied:
I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Rebecca Gernon. As Brian said, she's a PCP who specializes in OB/GYN. She's in this area, Goldie. Amazing bedside manner. I found her through another friend, and the whole family liked her so much that everyone moved to her.
Robin S. replied:
I adore my doc, Dr. Patricia Mooney-Smith at Heartland Women's Healthcare at NKCH. I don't know if she's accepting new patients, but everyone I've seen in that practice is great, too.
Nikki M. replied:
I used to go to Rebecca Gernon as well and she is awesome. I also love Corrinna Cooper at JoCo Ob/Gyn - she's the one who delivered Gavin.
Denise G. replied:
After being jacked around for years by male gynecologists (I had bad chick part issues throughout collage, thanks to how my body deals with Flagyl), I settled in the late 80 s at the Women's Clinic of Johnson County. I have seen several of their doctors (generally all women, although they do know have one male doctor on staff) over the years...a couple of which I stopped seeing because they retired from practice, or they went on maternity leave themselves and I ended up staying with the doctor I saw in the interim. I currently see Dr. Cynthia Eckert, who is truly fabulous (she deals without blinking with the realities of my existence, ya know?), and have had appointments with Dr. Amanda Healy, who is also wonderful. http://www.wcjcobgyn.com/
Patricia A. replied:
Patricia Mooney Smith!!¡!!
Angie Z. replied:
I disagree with Nikola about Dr Myrick - he was abrupt, not thorough, and acted like we were wasting his time (after making us wait an additional 45 minutes in the exam room). Dr Otto is great though! And I'm surprised to hear about Dr Hall. I'd like to hear details.
Tara M. replied:
Dr. Amy Carter and Dr. Vestal at Carter, Perryman, Matile, and Moore by St. Luke's on the Plaza are amazing. Dr. Carter has been my OB before Rhys and through my pregnancy, and Dr. Vestal I've seen a few times when I had to make a quick appt and she ended up delivering Rhys! Office is great, too....the nurses know their shit and call you back in a timely manner.
Stephanie H. replied:
I really like Dr. Bridget Abney at the Northland Women's Health Clinic, up on Barry Road. I've been going to her for years.
Brian B. replied:
tagging Amber Lee Bingham Would you recommend Dr Rebecca Geron? I know she a GP specializing in women's health. Full disclosure, I also go to Dr Gernon, and she is also an awesome GP.
Goldie G. replied:
I used to go to Dr. Kelly Nichols and can highly recommend her, but she's up North and I'm now in Lenexa. Logistically I really need to switch my ObGyn, PCP, etc. for the sake of timing and convenience. So if anyone in the NORTHland wants an excellent ObGyn, it's Dr. Nichols. http://www.saintlukeshealthsystem.org/doctor/kelly-b-nichols-md

Dr. James Mirabile (pronounced mer-ah-bo-lee)in Overland Park, KS saved my life!!! As well as my sister's and my mom's. He's fantastic!!!!!!
Mary Y. replied:
Dr. John Calkins. He's the head of the ob dept at KU med. I found him when I moved to town. He has beyond amazing bedside manner. After having several horrible experiences in LA he immediately diagnosed an issue I was having with just one visit. I have seen him for 7 years through some health issues, my regular yearly exams, my infertility struggles, my pregnancy, and he delivered Isaac. He actually got out of bed early and came to work two hours early to deliver Isaac. I would trust no one else. He's been in practice for nearly 40 years. Plus, he has the lost awesome mustache of all time. True story.
Amber S. replied:
Dr. Mara Galvin she's in the St. Joe Medical Center and also she is in the Lee's Summit St. Luke's East. She takes about every insurance, has the best phlebotomist and receptionists team, and you're in and out. (HAHA see what I did there in and out!) She's thorough and she served a volunteer doctor for some odd years in Africa treating women. She's awesome.

Anna G. replied:
Dr Cathanie Halberstadt at Rockhill is AWESOME.
Rachel W. replied:
I second Megan Sneed. You need to know what you want though and she is willing to talk options.
Jennifer H. replied:
I third Megan Sneed. I saw her a couple times at the end of my pregnancy for a PIH consult, and she was very open about my home birth plans. She truly is a breath of fresh air when it comes to natural birth friendly OB's.
After 19 years, I need to find a new ob/gyn. Mine is moving to New Mexico. :( Any recommendations?
Jennifer D. replied:
Sharla Shipman... women's clinic of Johnson county. Hard to get into. .. but she's great
Mary S. replied:
Dr Lisa Fitch on Englewood. Kristie and Jennifer and me all use her. Great lady.
Jen R. replied:
Dr Batty at Johnson County OB/GYN. Dr Martin is good there too if you prefer female. Martin actually delivered both kids but Batty is my official doctor there. Love that everything is on site and right across highway from SMMC.
Troy S. replied:
Dr Crystal Newby at KC women's clinic. She was one of my med students and she was incredibly intelligent and very kind. Tried to convince her to go into surgery, but she had her heart set on gyn. Ewwww.
It's time to change jobs. Lol now I'm looking into a OBGYN clinic or Pediatric clinic. Maybe phlebotomy. I'd yet I got less than 3 weeks to decide. Who can help me...
