  there's a NM roaster that has been roasting actual hatch chile all over portland during chile season. they offer a variety of heats of chile and their cost for a bushel is pretty affordable (i think it is around $60). it looks like they're at a few spots in/around seattle as well: http://www.losroast.com/buylosroast/
