We used Aberdeen fireplace centre on mid stocket road to put in a new fireplace, they made a good job and were easy to deal with. The painter we used was a guy called David Renfrew, he actually lives in Laurencekirk but does a lot of work in town. He is really good, a bit of a perfectionist but that is no bad thing, he charges by the hour - I think it was £20. If you need roofing work I would use a big company as we have been ripped off by cowboys before, we used Alexander Law last time and they were ok.
