The thing is that people are generally asking for personal recommendations, which are quite a bit more valuable than anything you'd likely be able to provide by creating yet another business directory but in the slightly weird form of a facebook group. Hi, 6 months ago I went from old storage heaters to a whole new central heating system. Partly done by a local plumber (can provide his details if you like) and partly done and certified by Dave McIntyre Gas Services Ltd (01235 527577) I could recommend Dave as long as you use him or Clive - Do NOT use Dave's son as he is slap dash. They must be ok as seen his van outside 2 of my neighbours houses over last few months.
