Informative links for anyone having problems with their landlords https://www.gov.uk/private-renting/repairs
Kirsty Pearce Jayne Collins and everyone I can highly recommend Stacey Manning fella. Immediately found source of the problem and is in process of fixing it. To say the landlord's maintenance guy generally caused the issue wouldn't put to fine a point on it

Kirsty Pearce hes well known for doing all he can to get out of paying for things. This is my problem. I've found one company on the business page.ive emailed them my list of issues as its hard to explain what I mean. Fingers crossed
Councillor B. replied:
The council can help enforce getting repairs done by private landlords but the landlord must have been given the opportunity to do it themselves. The CAB has a housing advice line that might be able to help in this situation 020 8684 2236. But I certainly would not deduct the cost of the repairs from your rent without something in writing authorising you to do that and would caution against doing that in any event given what you have said about his reluctance to do repairs
