Carlos Cortellezi !! All my horses have had no issues since Carlos has worked on them...just like humans after a few adjustments I was able to just maintain them requiring adjustments just once every 3 months. When I first met Carlos I saw and immediate difference in my horses. The ONLY downfall is he cant come to Texas and I am in Texas temporarily for awhile....Havent found anyone comparable.
Does anyone have an equine chiropractor that they would recommend? I am looking for someone who would be willing to travel to Newberry, SC to work on my gelding.
Amber M. replied:
Dr. Brady at Southern Equine is amazing! She also does acupuncture as well, I have her working on my TB gelding. She does not use mallets or anything of that sort, she is a just all hands chiropractor and veterinarian. http://southernequineservice.com/meet-our-team.html

Joan H. replied:
Ruh Roh! You need a chiropractor? This can't be good.
Dr Keelin Redmond. Idk how her charges compare to others as I don't price shop medical services. But she's very good and she's a vet so she knows the anatomy well. You can get into a lot of problems from using unlicensed "animal chiropractors" who are not actually chiropractors or vets. I'm a vet too but don't do chiropractic as I haven't gone to the additional training needed to do it well.
Ashley A. replied:
Dr Redmond for chiropractic work. She us great. Dr Shelly Onderdonk for acupuncture and homeopathic work. Dr Onderdonk has helped small animals too. Both women have a great bedside manner with the animals.

Ashley Simmons my horse has a mild case of kissing spine and is doing really well. I put him on a magnesium supplement and we ride him long and low. Horses with kissing spine hugely benefit from balanced riding that builds back muscle. The vet told me he would fall apart if he wasn't ridden and he was right. He is worked consistently and only occasionally has flares. These are addressed with massage, bute, robaxin, and Chiro work.
Sam B. replied:
Donna, Misty is by Domestic Dispute/Misty's Princess! Lots of Northern Dancer in her pedigree!
Donna K. replied:
