Craig Bailey only if it pre arranged it the sale agreement. Otherwise each company is responsible for their own prior debt.
The U.S. Wage and Hour Division can be contacted in Montgomery at (334) 223-7450, in Birmingham at (205) 536-8570, or in Mobile at (251) 441-5311. Their website is: http://www.dol.gov/whd/.

Whoever she work ed for is the one who owes her the money. Once an establishment has changed hands it is not the new owners obligation to pay for past employment nor is it her obligation to pay prior debts UNLESS the new owner agreed to take on the prior owners debts (which is highly unlikely as that would be a really stupid business move). Your daughter needs to send a certified letter to the previous owner and document where she has requested her money. She also needs to contact the department of labor (federal) because Alabama does not have a wage and hour board. I have included a link below with information directly from the source: https://labor.alabama.gov/Wage_and_Hour_Info.pdf

Huge fan of that place I can't even begin to spell much less pronounce by Staples. Love the staff, the food is always good, and it's clean. I wont eat in that strip (both Hunan and Del Toro) after finding roach parts in my food. El Patron is also pretty amazing.

Also try Gulf Shores Plantation in Fort Morgan. less crowded but a little out of the way

Last week I stayed at Best Western On the Beach (www.bestwestern-onthebeach.com) - newly renovated rooms, great service, private balcony, convenient location, right on the beach, etc, I highly recommend it!
Stephanie H. replied:
We like the Grande Carribean on Orange Beach. It isn't right on the beach, but rather directly across from state park area, thus the view clear, price is lower and just a walk across and you are there. Very nice. We like it. http://www.meyerre.com/condo/Grande_Caribbean?nck=8889651686&s_kwcid=TC|3053|the%20 grand%20 caribbean%20 orange%20 beach||S|b|25564603808&gclid=CN_b3 sOa0 b4CFdFaMgodi2YATA

Good Mexican restaurant around Alabaster? We've been to Habaneros, LA Burrito, and Sol Azteca and Zapopan in Calera.
James S. replied:
Del Tortoise. It should still be in the same plaza as the Woodland but I could be wrong since i stopped eating out years ago. Have to ask my neighbor really since he is from Mexico, I forget what state.
Kim H. replied:
Del Toro has the best salsa and quesadilla and enchiladas. Not the best margaritas though
El Patron in Helena. Minutes from my place in Olde Towne.
Jamie O. replied:
I like to mix it up.Del Toro is good on some things, but I don't care for their rellanos. El Patron has excellent rellanos. However, if you haven't tried the breakfast burrito with chorizo (not on the menu) with the verde salsa at LA Burrito, you simply haven't lived! El Patron does have the best dips, by far though!
Lynda D. replied:
I agree the El Agave in Montevallo is the best! They have the best salsa ever and the prices are not bad either.

Del Toro is ok. The only really good one, in my opinion, is Los Angeles Burrito, it tastes like home to me.
El Patron was delicious. Until my one year old nephew was served his lunch with a dead roach in it. Needless to say, we haven't been back. Stick with Zapopan

New Shopping Center
There have been a lot of ideas about what stores should be in the new shopping center. Should we want mid to low range stores and restaurants in...

They should have designed it like this mall. It would be one of the first, if not the first designed like this in the state. https://thegrovela.com

Fara P. replied:
Dillard's is high end? We already have Belk, and they are similar. I think Hobby Lobby or a craft store will be a big draw, as the next closest is in Hoover. And within a couple miles, there is a Michael's and Joann's. Michael Kors is actually closing stores, so not likely to get that. As for an oitdoor store, I'd rather see something like Mountain High Outfitters as they are more local. I do think we need more restaurant options, but no more BBQ. Alabaster has plenty of BBQ. And fast food. Urban Cookhouse would be amazing.

Hobby Lobby, Hobby Lobby!

Kearstyn Thompson, PLEASE try Panda House in Alabaster. It's between Walmart & the movie theatre !!! It is sooooooo good & the service is amazing. They treat you like family. If you like shrimp, try the shrimp in lemongrass. OMGosh so yummy !!!
Brandon W. replied:
A third vote for Panda House. Great atmosphere and great food with large portions. Surin is ok on occasion, but to me it just has that big chain/more commercialized feel. Nori Thai, https://www.facebook.com/NORIbirmingham ,is just as good, if not better than Surin. Taste of Thailand is good, but I always feel the service and portions are lacking.
