I went thru Anthony Travels. It was listed on the NYC Marathon website.The agency gave you a list of hotels to choose. It worked out well for me getting to the ferry and my family was a short walk to the course.

I highly recommend Shelburne Affinia on Lexington in Midtown/Murray Hill. They have really nice treadmills, but of course you won't need them.
