Not in stanly county but may be worth the drive depending on which direction you're headed. Bow Wow Barbershop and Kennels. Great place in Indian trail. Rates are 10-15 per night depending on breed. Phone number 704-847-8513.

Albemarle Animal Clinic charges up to $16 a night for boarding (that's for a 40 lbs dog).

I highly recommend Shannon Webster that owns Happy Pets Home Care. She is the only one I trust to care for my 6 dogs when we go out of town. She sends pictures and communicates with you daily so that you know your babies are getting the love they need while your gone. She has loved on my dogs for the last several years we have been on vacation and we have never had a problem. You can tell her caring for animals is a passion, her calling... and it's not just a job!
