I they are puppies it is a good idea to board them in kennels at least once while they are young - even if just for a night or too. They remember these things when they are young and therefore a less stressful experience if they ever have to board for any reason (you got ill, had to go away in an emergency etc.) This last time we were away we had housesitters come in and look after the dog and cat for us. The dog got lots of walks, house spotless, lawn mowed etc. Lots of people do it for free as they have a reason to want to be in the area - this couple have elderly parents in a care home nearby. Take a look at www.trustedhousesitters.com

I run Bunny Boarders for small animals and we look after them at home or can visit your pets at home. We are currently looking after a chi that has 3 puppies that are 4 weeks old. We have a large house and gardens so lots of space it is nicer than putting them in kennels. We also have a lovely westie who is great company. If its an option give us a ring Ron and Tania 07802 460447.

Ohhhh sorry Terry McDonald I read the post wrong. I thought you were looking for another dog owner. Right well in that case we used a man called Paul who owns scruffz which is a "dedicated, caring and highly professional pet service" he also does house sitting with your dog whilst your away. Might be worth a shot: 07861 381 618, good prices :)
