Bowie Drive animal hospital, Dr Buchanan is wonderful

Dr. Buchanan is my regular vet. He dpes surgurys all day on thursdays & can't fit her In till tomorrow. she is ok now but it can turn ugly fast. Been thru it before. So far no temp & I am doing all I can at home to keep it from inflaming/worsening. Have an appt w/ groar this afternoon but have never taken my pets there. She will prob be fine till am but watching her close.

Traver Veterinary Services, for sure. They are amazing. Saved my cat's life. He returned home after being missing for a month with a severe infection in his feet (80% of the pads were missing) and he was also severely underweight, dehydrated and just over all miserable. She treated him by sedating him, cleaning his feet, giving antibiotic and anti-inflamatory injections, giving sub-q fluids, treating him for ear mites, neutering him while he was sedated AND even gave us some paper litter and wet food. (His tongue was also raw) and she did it all without upfront payment (it was right before Christmas, no cash left) and for $180.

Thanks.. I need to find a back up vet anyway. iI have heard good things about Traver. I love Dr. Buchanan at Bowie Animal Hospital but no emergency hours. Hospital on I 80 seEmed way over priced and would not work with us on payments but it ended up we didn't need what they recomended (whelping issue). I wouldn't take a stuffed animal to Parker.. I will check her out. My vet can get us in early in the am so going there. She is not on crisis annd this is far from my first Rodeo with this and other issues. Have not lived here very long so I appreciate all the helpful information. I raise Champion german boxers so I like a Doctor who actually cares and will work with people when needed. I have pet insurance but its reimbursement after services So when wacky emergencies pop up its nice to have great options in care! Pic of one of my 5 day old fur kids!
