Dr. Bagden in Springfield. 703-451-3900. He's great! Uses the newest brace system that requires less visits and supposedly less pain. Not sure what decently priced is. I can only tell you that several years ago when Austin got his they were $5400. There is a downpayment requirement and then monthly payments spread out over 2 years.

Dr. Ho in McLean was my dentist as long as he's been there. He does orthodontics too. http://www.mymcleandentist.com/general--family.html. I don't know cost wise how he would be. All I can say on that is adjustments I have to get for my TMJ cost a lot less with him than the specialist I go to up here.

l'll be happy to recommend Dr Hammond as well, she's great. And she passed muster with my dad, he's an orthodontist in CT! If Amy's new smile is any indication, she's awesome ;)

Dr Bagden has been great. We love him and he worked with Shannon before she even needed braces and was less invasive then what other orthodontists wanted to do.

My kids used Berman & Lee in Falls Church, they were the going rate, as I recall, but my girlfriend swore by Dr. Feldman, also in Falls Church - saying he was significantly less.
