Travel Agent Recommendations? So there was [this post](http://www.reddit.com/r/rva/comments/ob17w/recommendation_for_a_travel_agent_to_help_plan_a/) a million years ago...

Search for a travel agent in NOVA- they probably know more/can help you out more because there's more of a local demand. I lived in Korea for 2 years, and went to Japan a few times. Totally winged the trips to Japan, but it did help that I have mediocre Korean skills. Most of the travel stuff(train schedules, buses, etc) in Korea is in both English and Korean and you could probably wing it if you were okay not going with a specific itinerary in hand. Let me know if you have specific questions on where to go in Korea.

I think you would be able to find everything you need on the Internet. I planned a trip to Italy using Lonely Planet and a mix of other online resources. I know Italy isn't the same as Japan/Korea, but there's a reason why travel agents are hardly used anymore.

I went to Japan almost a decade ago now. I planned everything using books and such. It's not really that hard. In Tokyo all the signs are bilingual.

The large institution my wife works for used [Covington](http://www.covingtontravel.com/) for quite some time--but now mostly just book online. Most if not all of their travel is in the US, however.

A travel agent will never save you coin compared to sites like travelocity.

Japan. Just do it. Amazing country, with amazing people. Buy a ticket and just go, it's easier than you think.
Does anyone have a Walt Disney World travel agent they recommend? Any one out there with a trip and ride plan they would like to share?

I'm in the process of planning right now! When are you going? I've got hotel, tickets, and character meals booked, working on researching fast passes and best use for our age kiddos...I did talk to travelmagic.com at first, but ended up doing it on my own because of a hotel discount I got...so fun!
