I take my mom to Helen's Hair Design on Las Tunas in SG....the ladies sit under dryers, Mom gets a perm every few months(also has very thin hair), and the shop does women and men...I get my hair cut there too...I have Stella, Mom has Yolie, but Hank & Helen are good too.
Melinda A. replied:
Shirley, I am very happy with Lana or Scarlets at Jubilee salon in Pasadena on Lake Avenue. They have a few dryers, but most people have blow dries and curling irons. Lana usually does my hair, and I followed her from another salon. I know it's a drive for you, but they're worth it.
Jeff L. replied:
Check out Alhambra beauty supply on main near the Denny's and ask for Sherry Nicole Owens
Peg R. replied:
Yes, it's called Alhambra Beauty School and they still use rollers & hair dryer's. It's nothing fancy but they do cater to senior ladies. Located on 2 nd & Main in Alhambra, Ca. I get my Pedicures done there.
Auntie T. replied:
I use Sherry Owens too! A lot of women I work with use Sherry too. My hair has never looked better.
