Make sure that they actually clean it out and not just poke a hole in the clog! A lot of plumbers will come out and poke a hole in the clog getting the water to drain, leaving you thinking the problem is solved. It's not solved and they know it because they will be right back out there in a month or 2 poking a hole in it again and you handing them money. Make sure they actually clean the drain. Watch them, pay extra if you have to. They should be running that snake back and forth in your drain several times cleaning the entire inside surface of the pipe. Roto Rooter is the only reputable company I know of that will truly clean the drain unless you can get someone else you know. They are expensive but you won't have to call out anyone else.
