Headed to Altoona this weekend, can anyone reccomend reasonable places to stay and get good food by W Southey Avenue? Plan on spending an entire day in the libraries...

The Hampton, the Cracker Barrel is right behind this hotel, across from the Logan Valley Mall. Applebee's is right inside the Mall too. Going to Hollidaysburg? Stop in the FRONT STREET DELI on Front Street right down the street one block from the diamond in Hollidaysburg. They have the most Delicious salads, sandwiches, pizza, frenchfries, meatball sandwiches, and hoagies.

Hit BCGS first, as they're only open 10-2 on Saturday! http://www.bcgslibrary.org/
Any suggestions on what florist to go with in Altoona that's reasonable priced.

I am so glad I didn't do real flowers. I have my bouquet on display at home. My mom has bouquets from my sister and I's weddings displayed at her house. And my sister has her bouquet still. Doing real flowers, you take the chance of them looking gross by photos. Doing fake is a great way to save money and keep a piece of the day on display forever. http://patcatans.com/ in Monroeville did mine. Michael's in Altoona did my sisters. Noone knew they weren't real unless they tried to touch them.
Need suggestions for a good florist to use for a wedding (no, not Brady's). Before anyone suggests Sunrise, they can't do it. Thanks
