I'm a sophomore at Rutgers University majoring in Animal Science (pre-vet) and I absolutely love it here! The Animal Science faculty is incredible and you can get a lot of hands on experience because there's a farm on campus. The science courses here are definitely challenging, but they prepare you for vet school. There's also a whole bunch of animal-related clubs you can join as well. I highly recommend Rutgers!

http://www.m.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/ringworm-infection-dogs It looks like ringworm. I normally just use the cream stuff that gets rid of athletes foot and it works but you have to put it on three times a day on all spots. ringworm is a fungas that is really contagious.

Hope vet! I have 2 dogs and they are both within in 25 pounds or less.... Both dogs were examined and their annual shots. One of the dogs had a heart worm test and a 6 months supply heart gaurd for both and 1 month of free next gaurd (sample) for both. I also needed a cream and my grand total was 135.00!! It's 35 each for shots if you just do the shots and exam. The staff and doc are amazing..better to get there when they open at 8 or before I did have an hour wait but it was worth every minute because this place is wonderful!
Magen H. replied:

I absolutely love Amarillo vet clinic on 10 th between Ross and grand. They have always been great on their pricing and they always love my animals. We had a major mishap with one of my dogs after giving birth and every vet clinic told us that she won't make it and I called them and they charged me half of what everyone else quoted me and my dog made it!! I have used them for 15 years. I will never use anyone else

Anyone recommend a good vet to go to that's reasonable in the Amarillo/Canyon area for castration of a stud colt with cryptorchidism?

Charter vet on south soncy did both my Colts.

Charter Equine does a great job but price does vary on severity of cryptorchid.

Mile Benson at claude has a minimal invasive procedure that he has developed and is quite reasonable in price in regards to amarillo /canyon vet clinics.
Best/ Cheap Veterinarian in Amarillo. Would also like to know how much a visit costs. I have two dogs who need their third round of shots.

Hope vet will let you apply for care credit or do checks. They will tell you amounts before they do anything. Its a walk in clinic and the wait time is usually pretty long.
