    I talked to animal control in Palmer and they said they have one that will read through a kennel. Keep in mind that Big Lake vet & Far Country have missed chips that AC found. If people with scanners can't find one it may be a good idea to have the animal scanned again. Not all scanners are created equal. I'm glad you are putting a list together.
