Hi, please can you ask if anyone can recommend a local hypnotherapist to help with an insect phobia. Thank you.

I know you will not like this but it works well. I am not a hypnotherapist that is qaulified and Gemma Storey probably is. Implosion therapy has always worked amongst family and friends, whereby the person is gradually introduced to the object they are afraid of. Pictures of the insect to begin with followed by standing nearer to the real thing and then touching it. Flooding is a bit more hash for the person because you just put the person in a room with free running live insects and the person gives up stressing out but to watch a person crying, screaming and flapping is not something some individuals can handle when watching a loved one confront the fear.
