After 24 years wife and I are heading back to the PI for the Month of June which will include a week in Angeles. Any expats or folks who visited recently out there that...

Wild orchid and Pacific Breeze are two I like to stay at in AC. Cheaper and better rooms than Holiday Inn. Great location for both hotels if you want to bar hop and walk to good eating joints. Both hotels will arrange transportation from the airport. I usually have then bring a cooler of beer, water and a cell phone SIMM card with minute. Will cost about 1,800 - 2,500 for the service. If you do taxi service in Manila demand they use the meter. The Executive Hotel in Manila is nice and good price.

It depends on your price range, there are a lot of choices. I reccomend finding one on Hotels .Com that intrests you, then asking this group if they have stayed there and would stay again. Good Luck, I reccomend in the $70 range Cenral Park, or $35-$0 Orchid Inn or $20-30 Kokomo's
