Usually only specialists who are somewhat prominent in their fields join organizations like this. Someone on this list is more likely to be a good divorce lawyer. They are also more likely to be on the expensive side, so be cautious about committing.

I helped my brother find an attorney for his a few years ago. The advice we got the most often was to find someone who works out of the county that you’re filing in. You want someone who knows all the players and can work within this system. Good luck to you!

Since you live in macomb you need a lawyer who deals with the macomb courts. Start by a free consultation. I used the website www.avvo.com and read reviews on divorce attorneys. I just went through one last summer and I had a 3 and a 4 year old at the time.

I practice law in A2 and can tell you with near certainty that they will not reduce your traffic ticket to an impeding. I don't take traffic ticket cases anymore, as a result. If your record is clean otherwise you may be eligible to have the points removed by the Michigan Secretary of State if you complete a drivers improvement class online within a certain timeframe. I'd look at that option.
