Kimberly H. replied:
Ann Arbor pediatric dentistry is excellent. My daughter has a female dentist. I wouldn't take her no place else.
Kerri M. replied:
Aspen dental in Adrian, Mi. They are great and take Delta dental.
Stephanie W. replied:
I second Whittaker Road Dental. They were great with my entire family! (only stopped going because we moved).
Tony P. replied:
Whittaker Road Dental is terrific. Wife/Husband dentists and they're wonderful.
Susan R. replied:
Whittaker Road Dental is great. The dentists are husband and wife and both are amazing with kids. They don't do things if the kids don't absolutely need it done but if they do, they are so patient and kind
Amy K. replied:
Cambridge dental, Dr Standhouse. At inkster and warren
Jennifer M. replied:
Dr. Amy at Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry. My son needed extensive dental work done. They were amazing. He had four teeth extracted & didn't even flinch. I did a ton of research and checked many references before taking him there. I was highly impressed. Plus, they've never been late!
Tamara B. replied:
Dr. Smilie I have been seeing him since I was a child
Carree E. replied:
Jody Finazzo in Southgate, she is a pediatric dentist. My son went to her and was always very comfortable with her and the entire staff.
Looking for dentist recommendations I just moved back to town and the pediatric dentist I went to in the 90s is probably retired and probably won't take me.
So I'm...

I went to dental school in Ann Arbor. Some of the most amazing instructors were the Drs. Heys on stadium. There is Don and Ron Heys who are twins, and they each have sons John and David who are each dentists. I would say Don or his son John would be good choices as they are all great dentists, I just seemed to click with their personalities (and they all love football). They have expanded hours since they all work there, and they all teach at the university. Great family practice

Ann Arbor Smiles Group! They're so wonderful, and they cover almost every dental service you could need. They're staff is very friendly and very help. There's four dentists in the practice, so I've never had to wait too long for an appointment They've frequently called me when a spot opens to see of they can get me in even sooner, which I appreciate.

Dr. Juan Johnson He's amazing and nice and gentle. Sometimes he'll do the cleaning for you if his assistant is out on lunch/vacation, small office, great conversation/explanations. I believe he teaches emergency dentistry at U of M. He's located across the street from Trader Joe's on Stadium.

Been going to see [Dr. Blogin](http://www.craigblogindds.com/) for my dental needs basically my entire life. Genuinely nice dude and knows his stuff. Plus he looks like Peter Griffin.
FeatofClay replied:
Dr Greashaber came well recommended to us, so we just switched our son to that practice. Seemed to be as good as promised!
Sltz replied:
I have hated the dentist, the dental hygienist, the secretary, and everything about taking care of my teeth. All of that changed when I started going to Gentle Dental on Packard. I recommend you go see Barb for a cleaning, and Dr. Huang for any dental work you need done. Dr. Huang is gentle, sweet, and genuinely shows her care for your comfort. http://www.gentledent.com/mobile/meet-the-staff.php

Dr. Heys on Stadium is pretty good. edit: Heys Dental is the actual name of the business.

Choice Dental is pretty good. I've had really good teeth all my life, went to the Dental School's faculty practice where they told me I had 7 cavities. Got a second opinion at Choice Dental, they told me they misdiagnosed a bunch of cracked sealants plus they figured some shadows in the x-ray were cavities and, upon showing me the pictures, Dr Choi showed it CLEARLY wasn't. Saved me a bunch of money/pain, they could've easily told me "oh yeah, cavities, gotta drill"

I go to a dentist in Saline now, so not that helpful, but I do have two "stay away from" suggestions from the time I spent in Ann Arbor: Gentle Dental on Packard and Progressive Dental in the Domino's Farms complex off 23. Both of them are on the scammier side of dentistry, always looking for ways to bill the insurance company for extras. After finally finding my current dentist who I love, I'm pretty sure Progressive filled at least 2 cavities I didn't actually have...

Question for any parents that have/had kiddos that didn't suck/chew. Can you recommend a pediatric dentist in or around Ann Arbor/Canton area? I get the "you are 22nd in...
Sylvia D. replied:
Tyler doesn't chew either. We go to Jason Golnick in Commerce Twp. It is about a 25 min drive, but worth it. They have been great with Tyler! They have experience with special needs kiddo. He also is friends with a lot of the UofM docs. Their number is 248-668-0022.
Anyone have a good gentle pediatric dentist to recommend in the Ann Arbor/Ypsi area?
Colleen B. replied:
Dr. Bunek at Enspire Dental.
Colleen B. replied:
I took Owen there when he was around a year. She's super nice. Beth Barbeau was my midwife, but since we were breech, we called on Linda as a backup. So, yes, she was my midwife. smile emoticon
Beth B. replied:
We see the guys at Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry on Mai St (near Main, Scio Church, and A2-Saline Rd). They're so far great with my little one who needed tons of work suddenly unsure emoticon Tried briefly Kay Wilson's office - run away from there, fast.
Barb A. replied:
We use Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry as well. Dr Amy gave Mira her first exam at about a year but she is no longer there. We now see Dr. Sam and like him. The older kids will see the hygienists first and every one has been wonderful. For a 1 yo the dentist will do the whole exam. My kids love going to the dentist. smile emoticon
Jenifer M. replied:
I thought I commented here last night, but Ann Arbor Pediatric Dentistry replaced Dr. Amy with Dr. Aimee, and she's wonderful. Very patient and gentle.
Anyone have suggestions for a great pediatric dentist in town??

Dr. Kay Wilson!

We had a negative experience with one ped dentrist here in town and then switched to Dr. Sandberg on Washtenaw. We love her and all her staff, who are all great at interacting with children.
Julie A. replied:
Dr Kay Wilson. She's kind of odd, herself, but she's fast & her dental hygienists are wonderful!
Meghan E. replied:
We had a very negative experience with one peds dentist in town and our son, who has Aspergers. We switched to Community Dental with Dr Bibik and couldn't be happier.
