We replaced our flooded carpet with LVP or Luxury Vinyl Plank over a cement floor. It is scratch resistant and water proof. The pad underneath keeps it warm. Roberts Hardwood Flooring did an excellent job 443-867-8230. We were originally going to replace with Hardwood but Robert gave some wise counsel for the space so we went with his suggestion.

Our bamboo, made by US Floors and purchased at Next Day Floors, has held up amazing. It has a 50 year warranty on the finish (20 in commercial applications), if it wasn't good, they wouldn't be able to afford to support that kind of warrantly. Not a single scratch in over a year with our beast walking on it every day. Even on the steps, there are no scratches or scuffs.
