Have you tried eliminating grain and/or chicken? Had similar issues and more with our dog and cleared up after taking those things out of his diet. We found earth born holistic grain free food! Great stuff, good price on chewy.Com

Go to Thomas' Tails in CL. They can give you some great food options.

Raw food, probiotics, bathe the dog in Murphy's Oil Soap. Stop by Thomas Tails in Crystal lake and they can help with info / options. After years of food trial and error, countless infections, medications, and costly vet visits, I was given this book. The author is my new vet and it changed my poor dogs life http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0061QAZHU?ie=UTF8&redirectFromSS=1&pc_redir=T1&noEncodingTag=1&robot_redir=1

I am not sure if she still practices, but we always loved Dr. Chamberlain for our family dogs.

Dr Lori Wyatt at Animal Doctor in Cary (by new Galati's). Compassionate and very smart. She's diagnosed several of our dogs accurately. She understands budget concerns too.

The vets at Fox Valley Animal Hospital have taken wonderful care of our pets. Our 4-year-old lab also has many allergies and had a rare tumor removed this past summer, and one of our cats is in early stages of kidney failure, and all the doctors and staff there have been fantastic. I would never take my pets anywhere else.

Is anyone here familiar with ringworm in kittens....
We rescued a kitten and the bet a couple weeks ago said she MIGHT have ringworm. Well surprise, it has taken over...

Collodial Silver!. I got a guinea pig from Pet Smart that had ringworm, and it spread to my son. I tried everything. I got collodial silver (it kills viral and bacterial), I spritzed it on both of them, every 2 hours, it cleared it right up in about 3 days. You can get it at Harmony Health Food or Albertsons on 42 nd street. It is my go to for everything. It is non toxic, and immune building. And if they lick it is okay, as it is non toxic, I also spritzed internally. I give my pets this and coconut oil and they are never sick, and their coats are super shiny.
