Round Lake Animal Hospital. 847-546-6700. They do not charge extra, and they are open on holidays and Sunday, incase of emergency...you don't have to go to a different vet and pay an arm and a leg.

Joanie, I have had nothing but good experience with Wauconda Animal Hospital. They are so friendly, caring and very reasonable. And they don't try to sell you pet food or services you don't need. They have taken beautiful care of the cats and dogs in our family.

Fox Lake Animal Hospital, Dr. Rudowski and staff are amazing and reasonable!

Totally agree Irene Colson Ducharme. Dr. Rudowski has been so amazing over the last 10+ years with my rescue Great Danes. He has intentionally saved me so much money with surgeries and I am extremely grateful for that man!!! I have been in the waiting room and have spoken to people who have travelled from Southern IL, Wisconsin and Indiana because he is so fair.

I second all creatures in Lake Zurich. I'm super particular about my vet and Dr. Nordstrom over there is the best and takes great pride in his work.

Dr. Dan in Hebron. It's a drive but they are the best!

Stefanie - this place is right by Henny Penny. They are great - this is where we go and they are pretty reasonable. When our shepherd was sick, they could usually get him in pretty quick. Dr. Nagar is very good.

Fox Lake Vet is wonderful. So is the owner/ Vet. If you call ahead for the emergency, they will see you asap. Very reasonable prices too.

I personally will only go to Fox Lake Animal hospital and I only see Dr Bo. The reason its so crowded is because he is an amazing vet and people and especially breeders come from all over.

I think he went out of state, but I can find out.... I used to go to him when he was with Dr. Pat ...... then I found out how wonderful Dr. Pat was..... Now THERE is a tragic loss..... loved that man.....

Yes he was very good! I use Dr. Dunn there now and I am very happy with him too.

I agree. Lakeland is still really good regardless. Just a lil pricier. But we had been taking my dog to wonderlake and getting absolutely no where. Finally we took her to Lakeland and she saw Dr. Dunn and he gave us some answers and she has been doing so well. It was allergies all along!! Wonderlake just kept giving us the run around. I will not be going back there.
