Which car mechanic would you recommend for a Honda Civic repair as well as tire replacement - preferrably a shop that opens on weekends (even just Saturdays) too please?
Chris G. replied:
Dudley Automotive
Duke B. replied:
Hondar House has been good, but maybe better is LBJ Independent Honda in Melrose (not so far from Arlington). www.lbjhonda.com
Rob P. replied:
Grey Patti auto next to RCN
Joey C. replied:
Palmers Garage summer st. Arlington

Abe at Arlington global was great for mechanical work on my civic. Creonte Tire in Waltham is where we have all our tire and brake work done. Honest people reasonable prices, fast turnaround and there is often a coupon on the Creonte website

Thanh Thanh, they quoted me $2 k and insisted that I needed a ton of work. I went to Burlington and they said it was my oxygen sensor (just $560). I was livid with Fresh Pond, because I have to assume that both dealerships use the same diagnostic equipment. So, it's quite possible you don't need all of the work that they're telling you you need. Kurt Fusaris has also had good experiences with the Burlington dealership. But Hondar House does great work also.

Rachel Hartstein Justin is at A1 Automotive, which is across the street from Bruce's on Dudley. I highly recommend both!
