We used Normans Air Duct services last week after a recommendation from another mom. Approx $300 for the vents plus the dryer, but they stayed for hours and it seemed worth it. I especially wanted the dryer vent cleaned for safety reasons.

Thanks, I had it done before at our rental with a Groupon with Matthew and Sons. But now that we purchased a Clarendon and moving in, I am highly doubting it has ever been done there. However, the home inspector and the HVAC technician from Dwers were telling us something to the effect about it not being useful, and waste of $ and can actually damage the duct system with the suction or something. I was half listening,(toddler and pregnant is my excuse). so thought I would do a poll here. I am still in favor of the concept, but if 2 "experts" say its not necessary it makes me wonder?

We have a rental condo near Fair Oaks Mall & the Condo Association there requires dryer vent inspections once a year! We have to mail them the receipt!
