Hi everyone, I’m new-ish to the area and looking for recommendations on veterinarians in Arlington, possibly Medford too. Has anyone had really good or bad...
Shannon G. replied:
all of our pets have been cared for at Arlington Animal Clinic on Broadway.

For cats I love VCA Cat hospital on Mass Ave
Sonia H. replied:
Not in Arlington but we have had amazing experiences with the Winchester Vet Group on Cross Street in Winchester. For difficult to diagnose cases, there is no one better than Dr. Steve Zannotti, the principal of the group. Also amazing things to say about the other 4 vets for dental surgery, other diagnostics, and general care. I recommend them highly.

We don't have pets, but we do have a close friend who is a vet. We've been witness to the care Dr. Kathleen Hanson at Burlington Animal Clinic has given numerous animals, and have had countless stories relayed to us of her skill and care.
Diane I. replied:
Arlington Animal Clinic on Broadway. All the vets are wonderful but am partial to Dr. Catherine Cole. Very personable and easy to work with. I had been with the same vet for 30 years and they retired and had to find a new vet. I have been so impressed with the care and compassion shown to my pets and myself. The last two years we have had to deal with some heavy issues, and Dr Cole was so thorough in her research, approach, explanations at all times. While giving my pets outstanding care, she also is excellent at dealing with the humans.........very understanding where we are coming from, realistic in her expectations of what we can do. Highly recommend.

I simply love Porter Square Vet (in Davis Square, natch). Not only have I always felt that they put me and my cats' needs above a focus on profits, they were also really wonderful when I had to put a cat to sleep a few years ago.
